Origin: Teflon-coated bullets, widely (but incorrectly) thought to pierce armor.(U.K.) Nickname for someone who got themselves out of trouble (The shit didn’t stick to their Teflon coating).(Canada) Refers to the fact that untrained privates and officer cadets can’t be demoted any further for doing something stupid. (If they mess this up, it doesn’t matter since they’re Teflon coated.)
