What is Lobby ?

Lobby is (noun) 1. an entrance hall I’ll meet you in the hotel lobby in half an hour. 2. a group of people who try to influence important people, especially members of parliament The MPs met members of the anti-abortion lobby. 3. the hall in the House of Commons used especially for interviews with members of the public (verb) to try to influence someone, especially in order to get a bill through Parliament She lobbied her MP with a detailed letter and other documents.
