What is Forge ?

Forge is (verb) 1. to copy something illegally He forged the signature on the cheque. The new design of the banknotes makes them difficult to forge. 2. to forge ahead to go forward quickly; to progress The wind blew harder and the yacht forged ahead. We are forging ahead with our new project. (noun) a place where metal objects are made by heating the metal until it is soft and then forming it into a shape, e.g. with a hammer The blacksmith was hammering away in his forge.
