What is comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA)?

comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) is A process which includes a multidimensional assessment of a person with increasing dependency, including medical, physical, cognitive, social and spiritual components. Can also include the use of standardized assessment instruments and an interdisciplinary team to support the process.
