What is Censor ?
Censor is (noun) a person who reads documents or looks at films to see if they are fit to be published or shown The censor has refused permission for the film to be shown. During wartime, military censors read all letters from soldiers to their families. (verb) to read books or plays, to watch films, videos or TV programmes to see if they are fit to be published or shown, or to change them, or to say that they cannot be shown or published The film was censored before being shown on TV. He was accused of censoring the article.
