What is Preliminary Title Report?

Preliminary Title Report meaning When a buyer, seller or lending agency requests that a title insurance company conduct a title search, the first report they get is call the “Preliminary Title Report”. It is a report that includes a list of all of the liens affecting the property. A child support judgment recorded in the County Recorder’s Office will appear on the preliminary report.
