What is Archaea(formerly Archaebacteria)?

Archaea(formerly Archaebacteria) meaning A group of single-celled microorganisms. A single individual or species from this domain is called an archaeon (sometimes spelled “archeon”). They have no cell nucleus or any other organelles within their cells.
