What is Complete Blood Count(CBC)?

Complete Blood Count(CBC) meaning A blood test that measures the following components in a sample of blood: red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and hemoglobin. A complete blood count (CBC) with differential also measures the levels of the five types of white blood cells found in blood: neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. The CBC is used to assess overall health and to diagnose and guide treatment of numerous diseases.
