What is Lymphoid?

Lymphoid meaning Refers to a different cell line of white blood cells (see also myeloid)Cells derived from stem cells of the lymphoid lineage: large and small lymphocytes, plasma cells. Lymphoid cells reflect the location from which they derive. These types of cells are found in lymph nodes, GI tract lymphoid tissue, bone marrow.
