What is Tachycardia?

Tachycardia meaning Abnormal rapid heartbeat. In adults, a rate over 100 beats per minute is usually considered tachycardia. Tachycardia can occur as part of lactic acidosis, which may be caused by advanced HIV infection or some antiretroviral (ARV) drugs.
