What is Secondary prevention?

Secondary prevention meaning Efforts to deter a disease from incapacitating or threatening the life of a patient after the disease has occurred. This is a type of disease prevention practiced by conventional medicine. Also, activities that cannot prevent the disease from occurring but are directed at limiting the consequences of disease once it is detected.See also primary prevention.
