What is Triad of disease?

Triad of disease meaning An epidemiologic concept that disease can be prevented by eliminating any one of the three elements (triad) necessary for a disease to occur. Agent: the actual biologic cause of the disease process.Host: a person who is at risk for or susceptible to contracting the disease.Environment: The place where the agent and the host encounter each other.
